For this week's lab, we worked with LiDAR and elevation tools. I've worked with these before early in my career, but the lab took it a step further. Specifically, with the mathematical tools used to prepare the rasters for further analysis. I've only ever gotten as far as getting a difference of values to see change between storm events. The mathematical processes behind GIS have always been daunting, but these tools show me I can accomplish more than I previously believed.
